My Tyme Online

Your TIme... Your Voice....

July:

July will be a busy month for My Tyme and the RAA. We will be organizing our first fundraisers, placing ads in local news papers, and introducing both the Equal Employment Effort and Project Vote Now! to members of the organization.

A demonstration will be held in Jeff City to raise awareness of the glbt community's presence in the state of Mo. It will involve a couple of small elements.

1. A sit-in on the steps of the capitol

2. Flyer Campaigns

3. Public Polls

4. My Tyme Meetings

Fundraisers:

My Tyme will be running its first fundraisers through the month of July. These will involve candy sales and more….. Sales of various products and many other projects aimed at raising monetary support for My Tyme… These will also include cook outs and activity based raisers.

My Tyme will also be placing its first set of Ads in news papers:

Equal Employment Effort:

The EEE is My Tyme's approach to unfair employment practices in Mo. We will be campaigning to educate and involved Missourians in LGBT employment legislation. We will run petitions, letter writing campaigns, and more. My Tyme will protest and work to reform employment practices statewide.

Project Vote Now!

Vote Now! is My Tyme's answer to passive, non-voting, and unregistered glbt people. Vote Now! will seek to educate people of our community about politicians, laws, legislation, and government. Vote Now! will be aimed at involving glbt society in the processes for decision making in Mo government that effect both themselves and those around them.

These are the directives and actions ahead for members of My Tyme and the RAA. We have a bright out look on the coming summer, and hope to achieve our current goals, as well as many after….
